Introducing Sage

Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying a nice fall day, like I am. Curtis locked me out of the garage this morning so I am in the house cleaning up and doing laundry. The trip to town will have to wait until tomorrow.

Anyway, this beautiful greyhound lives just near Fort Qu'Appelle in Saskatchewan which is about 1/2 an hour from Regina. She is beautiful and the best part is that she is CHESTER'S SISTER!!!! Just thought I would share her pic with everyone. She lives with my friend Maureen and her retired racer brothers, Roman and Walter, along with a Austrailian Shepherd and Bermice Mountain Dog puppy.

Greyhound Sweaters for Curt and Kyla

Hi Curt and Kyla. Sorry that I couldn't get these to upload to my email, but alas, computers never work right when you want them to. The green sweater is the largest and then the burgandy is the smallest. See you tonight!

THE LAST DAY

We are moments from heading home to Alberta, but I wanted to post the last pictures of goose hunting before we hit the road. The boys hunted on Miskos field this morning, out by the 11 mile corner. They were joined by Matt, the Australian(by way of Souris) and Earl the weekend hunter. Everyone had a great time.

September 22nd, 2007 was spent hunting on Elder's field near the 11 mile corner. It was a busy morning with two additional hunters joining in including Uncle Melvin and Matt, Erin's souvenir from Australia. They bagged 13 geese and 3 ducks. The last hunt is tomorrow.

September 21st Blast-a-thon!

Today was a better day! The boys headed out to the field at about 6:00 am and managed to blast 30 Canada's and one Snow Goose. They were joined this morning by my Dad's long time friend, Warren. The ladies met them for breakfast. It was a good day!
Oh I almost forgot! Claire has made a new friend across the street from Nana and Papa's house. Her name is Page and she is "obsessed" with her new friend, Claire.

Goose Hunting, Day 4

Well, today was an interesting day! Melvin (Curtis' brother-in-law) and his nephew Morgan came down alllll the way from Lenswood, MB for the hunt this morning. To get here, they would have had to be on the road by 4:15 am. Can we say "Crazy"??? That is all that was needed to turn the hunters' luck from good to bad. They only managed to bag 7 geese this morning, but Morgan and Daniel still had a good time. Morgan was a little cold and slightly upset that his sandwich was so far away in the truck, but he toughed it out, like the trooper that he is, and you can see the joy on his face in the photo.

Since they still had 15 geese they could shoot today, Bob, Curtis and my Dad decided that they needed to have an afternoon shoot east of town on Hojnocki's field. Success again(since the company went home)! They managed to limit out and are still cleaning geese as this is being typed. I think that my Dad is praying secretly for rain so that he can sleep in tomorrow morning!
